Hi, I'm WhoAteMyButter.
I make Minecraft maps (amongst other things) for the public to enjoy. This is where I post my maps, creations, images, packs, or anything else!

Introduction to my character, hope you like it because it's all you get.

Who are you?

Hello! I'm WhoAteMyButter, a person that makes Minecraft maps; a lot of them on here. I also create toolkits/resources that other people can use to form their own stuff.

What do you do?

I make maps, toolkits, resource packs, and other various gadgets to help myself and others create better maps, and better content.
Most of my creations are standalone maps, though.

Where can I contact you?

My only contact is through Discord. Join the Minecraft discord, and look for me there.
For privacy reasons, I can't post it directly (sorry!).

A list of all the worlds I'm creating, in my palm.
An upcoming all-in-one religious-horror trilogy simulation

Chapter I: Prologue:

Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Chapter I:

Abide with me; fast falls the eventide
The darkness deepens; Lord, with me abide
When other helpers fail and comforts flee
Help of the helpless, abide with me.

Chapter II: Prologue:

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
Not to us, Lord, not to us,
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness.

Chapter II:

You wait 'till later
'Till later tonight
And you wait 'till later, 'till later
'Till later tonight
Because tonight always comes.

Rail Rider
A twist-turning adventure
Rail Rider is an action platform map like no other!
Jaunt a metal cart through a myriad of lanes to obtain the Fragments!
Unravel brand new tracks, from ancient to ultramodern, all the while aggregating the Fragments to tear down the section's barrier!
Traverse along 9 entire installments to conquer all 23 levels to annex the final match!
Decorate yourself with hats and headgear; refurnish all the quartz rooms, from a sandstone look to an evil nether brick paint!
Discover hidden Trophies to decipher a bonus room, furthermore ride the sky-high tourist rail to overlook the level grid!
Built through over 2 years, Rail Rider is a monolithic Minecraft world, chock full of features and adventure!

Magmon Server Archive
A collection of past memories
As promised, here are the world files to the (very old) Magmon server. All player data has been stripped.

Shattered Pixel Dungeon
A toolkit for the classic dungeon fork
This is a template for making map inspired by the game Shattered Pixel Dungeon!
This is not a map, this is a toolkit with the resource and basic functions for making a level that looks like one from S.P.D.
With that, playtimes will vary. Make your own level and add your own mechanics!

Butter's Golf Resort
Waterfall, volcano, castles, all in 18 holes
I welcome you to Butter's Golf Resort, a 18-hole golf course!
It is a full 18-hole course, with pars, custom tracks, and contrasting obstacles!
Drop the golf-ball into 18 individual holes and try to get below par!
Change the default game-rules, play in the rain, or try to hit the ball in the dusk!
Keep your score with a scorecard and play with an infinite amount of friends!
This map was made out of boredom over the course of 4 days.
WorldEdit was used in the process, it made the project possible and much easier.
It is recommended to play with your family or friends to keep the score tracking balanced, and making sure no one cheats.

A dysfunctional demonic initiation
Original Game Concept by MY5TCRIMSON on Gamejolt.
This is the second game in my streak of Indie games in Minecraft.
SONIC.MCMETA is a re-make of SONIC.EXE, a game about a corrupted sonic cartridge left in the dumpster.
It's recommended to play with sound on, otherwise… it just wont be the same… Play and repeat. Your brain grows numb.
What happens if you go back where paint used to cover? The door might be unlocked this time.
Don't be afraid to fight logic. Who knows? Breaking limits might reward you, even…
Well…REWARD isn't really the right term for it…Good Luck! You'll need it.

Lavender Town
Inaudible frequencies cause permanent damage
This was a small little map I did for Halloween, all textures were directly imported from the game itself, which can be found here.
There are no jump scares, and the whole map is directly from the game "Escape from Lavender Town". This is not a copy of the actual Pokémon game. The only thing scary is the text and messages, which can be a little dark.
This map is really small, but I put quite a bit of work into it, getting the textures, and resizing everything so it looks nice.
Before dropping the ESC key, please, look around and explore what I have made, some things are there, some things aren't when you escape…

Four Black Walls
A perspective on life itself
Your name is Spencer. They told you not to go into the portal. There were signs. Many. But you did it anyway. Let's see if you can get back without any… unfortunate happenings…
Four Black Walls is an interactive map that took almost a whole year to fully build, develop, and test.
Every time you step, or look at an object, it tells you something about it, or maybe gives you the option to do something with it.
Be careful though! You are still trapped in this parallel world, and you may never wake up. Or so that's what the narrator says. Oh well.
With 5 different and individual endings, with goals along the way, it's not just any map. It's a perspective on life itself.

The ultimate original staged puzzle-parkour game
WhoAteMyButter, an all-original map maker brings you SpongeQuest!
After 2 weeks of work, it is complete with 18 levels, puzzles, 5 sections, fancy-shmancy hats, 172 command blocks, inter-dimensional traveling, big-nosed villagers, and fluffy polar bears (deadly, but still)!

Golf Course
Golf can be whatever I want
Have you ever wanted to play golf, peacefully, and to BUILD YOUR OWN COURSE?
Now you can! After 2 weeks of hard work, the Golf Resort map is now available for release!
Complete with hats, name colors, particles, and an LSD effect. Fun. Make your own course, and make a track for it! Save it, and play it again and again!

Faded colors combine to something greater
I have been hinting at a map I was working on, called, The Trials.
Sadly, that map has been discontinued, because I loaded it in the 1.11 snapshot… and all text is gone.
Meaning no commands were in any command blocks, signs were blank, and no-named armor stands.
This led to the death of The Trials… Fret not, this was made to fill in the gaps.

Happenings, good or bad.

Added social media links at the bottom of the page, in the footer.

January 23rd, 2020

Added absolute script and CSS URLs, added /tests/ page.

January 15th, 2020

Redesigned the entire website, everything is on one page now. Everything is actively responsive, and was built from the ground up. Grapesjs.com is responsible for the initial layout and CSS, but I worked on the JavaScript, accessibility, meta, animation, and responsiveness. Hope you enjoy the new website as much as I do.

December 26th, 2019

Fixed domain issues and major 404's. DNS resolves work now.

December 7th, 2019

I fixed the download pages for most of the maps, and the downloads work correctly now. Some maps could not be recovered, and I have marked them as "Unavailable". These maps are:
  • Golf Course
  • Shattered Pixel Dungeon Kit

November 21st, 2019

Changed the CSS to be slightly more responsive. I hope to work on animations more in the future, but I just don't have enough time.

November 7th, 2019

I recently installed a new DE and basically wiped my drive. Took a bit to get all the backups reinstated, but everything should work fine now. Sorry for the short downtime.

October 9th, 2019

I realized that the domain I used to use (privatedns.org) was not renewed and sadly I didn't get to it until today.
While doing general checking, I noticed I couldn't connect to the server anymore and found the source of the issue.
Worry not, I have gotten an entirely new domain name and have switched everything over to the new ufodns.com domain.
Privatedns.org will no longer function, but I will indefinitely hold it in my account so no one can steal it.
If it does become renewed at some time, I will continue to use this domain name.
Today, I also added the News tab just for this purpose. Thank you all for reading.

Various packs of art and/or text that I've used in my maps.

Experimental stuff, may explode randomly.
